Worked a little bit on Twitter. Followed some people and deleted a few.
Did watch the game with the Seahawks against the Vikings in cold, cold Minnesota. The Seahawks barely won but they won. Which was amazing. A game with frozen players on a frozen field and the fact that they played at all was pretty amazing. Some of the players with bare arms. Don’t ask me how they did that one.
My takeaway was that old Woody Allen quote in which he stated that “80% of success is in just showing up.” Both sides made mistakes – both sides were playing but it was more just a game of showing up and doing what they could. And that to me was encouraging.
It is what I hope doing this book marketing blog every day (or mostly) will slip me into that 80% success field. I certainly am not doing anything spectacularly outstanding. But I am finding new people to follow and new things to think about, new things to try. And if I can just keep myself in the game, keep showing up and doing what I can as much as I can. Hopefully, it will make a difference.
