So – I thought I had done Saturday’s post but apparently I didn’t. Oh well. I didn’t do much. So there wasn’t much to write about.
The one thing I did find out that was interesting was a software program called KDSPY. It’s designed to “spy” on other Kindle accounts and gives you a read out of books on Amazon and what keywords, niche and even sales information different books have. The cost is a one time fee of $49.
Basically it is a tool to provide statistical information of how to best position your book, what keywords are the most effective, category, pricing, etc. Some of this information you can find out pretty easily though time consuming. Apparently this program does it fast. I would love to see how it works but at the moment its another fancy thing that is not in my budget. Thought I would share it though. I read about it in an article but forgot to bookmark it and can’t find it now. Sorry about that. I did find this article now that goes into it with a little more depth. Targeting Genre.
