I think the hardest thing in being an author for me is not getting discouraged.
You try some things they work and some things don’t. You keep on trying.
Yesterday I worked on rewriting the ending for the book. It is so hard to get it right. Have lost count of how many times I have done this. Every time I think, YES! this is it. The next day I look at it or I have someone else take a look and NOPE it is not going to work.
Here’s hoping this time it will work.
There is a quote I heard a long time ago from a friend who is a business consultant. It might be time to apply it. The quote is this:
There comes a time in every project, when one has to shoot the engineer and get on with the production.
I think I need to look around for my gun.
